Leeds will be without Stuart Dallas, Adam Forshaw, Archie Gray and Luis Sinisterra for the Elland Road clash with the Cherries, all of whom were missing for the famous 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.
That victory, which came thanks to Rodrigo’s early gifted goal and Crysencio Summerville’s dramatic last-gasp strike, begs the question whether or not Marsch needs to make any changes at all as the Whites seek consistency at home.
But Marsch does have the option to bring Patrick Bamford back into the starting line-up, after going with Rodrigo at Anfield and getting a goal but not a great deal else from the Spaniard. Bamford did not find the net as his penalty area struggles continued, but the once-capped England forward did yet again cause real problems for the opposition with his presence.
Elsewhere in the side, Marsch’s team almost picks itself and here’s the YEP prediction for the side to face Bournemouth.
1. Illan Meslier
There's no way Illan Meslier comes out of the Leeds United team right now, such is his form and his standing. The Frenchman was imperious against Liverpool, saving nine of 10 shots he faced. Leeds' undisuputed number one. Photo: OLI SCARFF
2. Rasmus Kristensen
The Danish international has shown signs of settling into Premier League life, with some of his better performances coming in recent weeks. Unlucky to be dropped for the Fulham game, he returned to perform admirably against Liverpool, albeit with one mistake that led to a goal. Photo: OLI SCARFF
3. Pascal Struijk
A makeshift left-back he may be, but Struijk has made the position his own this season and it's very difficult to see Junior Firpo taking it off him any time soon. Even against elite attackers Struijk has stood up well this season on the left. Photo: OLI SCARFF
4. Robin Koch
Mr Consistent this season for Leeds United. Arguably Leeds' best defender since the campaign began, Koch has been reliable and steady. His performances have guaranteed him a start and he must be close to making the Germany squad for the World Cup. Photo: Stu Forster
5. Liam Cooper
The captain recovered from a slip against Liverpool to defend doggedly in the latter stages. He has been, by and large, very good since returning from an Achilles problem with only one or two errors. He'll likely keep his place next to Koch. Photo: OLI SCARFF
6. Tyler Adams
One man who Jesse Marsch wouldn't dream of taking out of the line-up unless he was forced to through injury, is Adams. The midfielder was at his best against Liverpool and is proving an astute signing by the Whites. Photo: OLI SCARFF
