Patrick Bamford's fifth-minute penalty proved the only goal of the game as Marcelo Bielsa's Whites moved on to 20 points for the season despite a strong second-half showing from Sean Dyche's Clarets.
Graham Smyth, the YEP's chief football writer, hands out the scores.
