Impressed former Whites stopper highlights question facing Leeds United in the Premier League

Newly-promoted Leeds spent close to £100m in this summer's international transfer window but suffered frustration in their efforts to land a centre-midfielder as the deal to recruit Bayern Munich's Cuisance collapsed.
Green, though, expects Whites head coach Bielsa to adapt with the players he has and believes the more pressing issue will be how United cope with the demands of a condensed Premier League campaign.

Hide AdGreen has been hugely impressed with newly-promoted United's start to life in the Premier League but says a decent beginning comes as no huge surprise given the side's start to the last two Championship seasons under Bielsa.
With the squad now significantly strengthened during the summer, Green believes the Whites now have every chance of proving a big success in their first season back if avoiding the potential for tiredness towards the end of a campaign which will not finish until the penultimate weekend in May.
"It's been an incredible start to the season and one that if you watch Leeds last season and before under Bielsa it's no great surprise," said Green, speaking on the Football Show on Sky Sports.
"How they transform it in the second half of the season when bodies get tired in the condensed format of this season is going to be the question.

"The one position you would say they maybe missed out on was Cuisance the Bayern Munich midfielder.
"The deal fell through and it's left them short in central midfield maybe.
"But Bielsa doesn't really care. He doesn't really work like that

"They can take this forwards and really give themselves a great chance."
