Man dead after incident at Cross Gates railway station in Leeds

A man has died after an incident at Cross Gates railway station in Leeds.

British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the station at 11.50am on Monday, May 3 following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

Paramedics also attended.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene.

BTP are not treating the incident as suspicious.

A file will be prepared for the coroner.

Train lines were blocked and services cancelled emergency services dealt with the incident.
