Police launch investigation after large crowd gathers around fight in Featherstone

Police are appealing for information after a large fight in Featherstone.

It happened shortly before 6pm on Sunday (June 6) in Post Office Road.

West Yorkshire Police received a call reporting a fight, with a large group of people gathered around it.

Officers were sent to the scene and dispersed the crowd.

Police are appealing for anyone with information on the fight to come forward as they investigate the offence of affray.

A parked car was also damaged during the incident and a crime of criminal damage has been recorded.
