Garforth Main Street stabbing: Man released on bail after large street fight

A 21-year-old man who was arrested after a teenager was stabbed in a fight in Garforth has been released on police bail.

Police were called to Main Street at 10.30pm on Friday (May 15) to reports of a street fight involving a large number of people.

An 18-year-old man was found with stab wounds to his leg and arm and he was taken to hospital.

His injuries were not life-threatening.

A 21-year-old man has been released under investigation, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said.
