SUNFLOWERS are usually thought of as the giants of the garden but one Morley woman has managed to cultivate a lily that can easily give them a run for their money.
Mrs Nancy Jones, of Albert Drive, has a lily that has managed to grow to an incredible eight foot tall!

Her daughter, Rita, said she bought the plants in tubs for £2.99 from the B&Q store in Beeston and couldn't believe how they grew.

"I just don't know know how they've managed to grow like that," she said.

"We haven't done anything different with them.

"I've never seen anything like it. They're incredible."
