WONDER Woman and the Statue of Liberty graced a Morley dental practice to raise funds for a good cause.
Staff at Morley Dental Centre, Corporation Street, embraced the spirit of Uncle Sam for American Independence Day and held a fancy dress charity day to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, a scheme which provides families with a place to stay if their child is in hospital far away from home.

Taking on the US theme the staff also donned cowboy outfits and Captain America even turned up to join in the fun.

Almost every business in Morley town centre donated prizes for a raffle and £480 was raised on the day.

A spokeswoman for the surgery said staff had had "a brilliant laugh" all in aid of a good cause.

The surgery wants to thank everyone who donated prizes, bought raffle tickets and gave support in any way.

They are now planning another charity event for later in the year.
