Popular Valentine's Fair opens in Leeds today
Billed by organisers as 'the UK's largest Valentine's event', the fair will boast 70 attractions for visitors to enjoy when it opens today from its new location at Woodhouse Moor, just off Woodhouse Lane.
The fair has moved this year due to ongoing work at its previous home at Elland Road, but organisers have promised there has been no compromise in stature and size.

He added: "We've been doing this for over 30 years, from the city centre to Elland Road and now at Woodhouse Lane. We just get a fantastic response from the Leeds people. It's the first fair of the year and the people turn out for it. There will be a fantastic atmosphere, with lights and music and everything else."
Among the array of fair staples including rollercoasters, thrill rides, family rides, dodgems, ghost train, carousel and waltzers will be headline attractions including the Top Scan, Superbowl and Extreme - a 33-metre observation year.
And new for 2020 is the Mega Spin - a stomach-turning ride which spins, lifts and tilts upside down.
