A LUCKY Morley family will get to see Morley Amateur Operatic Society's latest show for free.
The society has offered one competition winner a set of four tickets for the opening night of Anything Goes at the Carriageworks Theatre, Leeds.
For a chance of winning the tickets simply answer the question at the end of this piece and send it on a postcard to the Observer and Advertiser office to arrive by September 10.
The winners will get to see a show that has been a constant sure-fire hit with audiences on both sides of the Atlantic since its Broadway premier in 1934.
Cole Porter's sassy comedy musical is set on the SS American as it sails from New York to Southampton.
On board is a motley cast of mobsters masquerading as missionaries, gamblers, evangelists turned night club singers, heiresses and chancers who embark on a mad cap tale of mistaken identities, romance and hell raising.
A talented cast of more than 20 will add that Broadway sparkle with big dance scenes and a succession of hit songs including Anything Goes, I Get a Kick Out of You and It's De-lovely.
For a chance of winning tickets tell us which Torchwood and Doctor Who actor made his West End debut playing Billy Crocker in Anything Goes ?
Send your answer to the Morley Observer and Advertiser, 40 Queen Street, Morley, LS27 9BR including your name, address and day time telephone number.
Those not wanting to leave things to chance can buy tickets for Anything Goes, which will be at The Carriageworks from September 16-20, from the theatre's box office on 224 3801, from the MAOS booking line on 285 2233 or from society members who will be selling tickets every Saturday morning in Morley Market.
Two amateur actors are desperately being sought for a role in the musical.
Two roles have still to be filled and they are those of Ching and Ling, the two Chinese 'converts', important roles who appear in both acts one and two of the musical.
The roles have a few lines between them but the society has said they can be on stage more if the want to become more heavily involved in the production.
Rehearsals are held at Morley Cricket Club on Mondays at 7.30pm but performers may be needed on other nights the nearer it gets to showtime.
Performances are at 7.30pm with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.
