10 places you can go in Leeds on Christmas Day if you're lonely
If you are spending the festive season alone, there are places across Leeds that you can visit to enjoy a warm meal and soak up some companionship.
1. St Vincent's Support Centre
The support centre will be open on Christmas Day for dinner, with members of the community invited along to enjoy a free meal and some company between 12pm and 3.30pm.

St George’s Crypt is open to all, not just residents, from morning to afternoon, offering those who need it a friendly and warm welcome.
4. Rainbow Junktion
All are welcome to join the festivities at Rainbow Junktion at All Hallows’ Church for Christmas dinner on 25 December, as well as the Christmas Day service at 10.30am.

This vegan cafe in Pudsey is welcoming anyone who is feeling a bit lonely to pop in at Christmas, with a free lunch on offer on 25 December from 1pm to 4pm.

7. Homeless Street Angels
The homeless charity will be going around Headingley and Leeds city centre on Christmas Eve with a Christmas dinner, essential supplies and a sack full of gift wrapped presents to deliver to the city’s rough sleepers.
8. Sunnyview House Care Home
This care home has partnered with charity Re-engage and will be opening its doors to elderly people in the community to help ensure that they don’t have to face Christmas Day alone.
9. Swinnow Community Centre
From 11.30am to 5pm, the community centre in Bramley will be welcoming people for a Christmas Day meal on 25 December.
10. Mill Hill Chapel
The chapel is running various free events during the Christmas period for people to come along to, including a Sunday morning service (22 Dec) where there will be tea and coffee on offer afterwards.
