New residents-only zone near Leeds school
The stretch of Baker Street in Morley has the new restrictions after claims of “indiscriminate parking” by motorists linked to the school and to nearby businesses.
A council report confirming the changes says: “The purpose of these proposals is to discourage non-resident parking associated with local businesses and Morley Academy. It is hoped that this will significantly improve parking opportunities for residents”.
